Budds Of Oil

This picture is very effective as the colours are beautiful. I took the idea from my inspirational photographer Baron Aldolph De Meyer, with his floating lillies, to put flowers in puddles. This oil puddle was perfect and very contrasting with the flower. I also made use of the pebble to frame the colours clearly. I'm very happy with this photograph and would consider putting it in my portfolio.

This photo is very effective in a simplified way. I deliberately picked the wonky steamed flower to add a different focal point. I also tried to capture the raindrop in the front of the frame which is really nice as it is a ripple of all colours. To make this image a bit more effective would be changing the angle I shot it from,

Barbed Wire

These photographs I think are very effective. Macro photography here was the right way to go when capturing the detail. I also feel the shallow depth of field really works best with this type of thing especially. In the bottom image I really like the upside down reflection of the landscape captured in the rain drop. If I used them in my portfolio I would place them like this, (underneath each other). I have also croped them for effect so there is more effect on the wire only.I could also try to sell the work and frame them in this order with a thick frame so they are each spaced out. My favourites are the top and the bottom. I'm not overly keen on the cobweb one are i dont think it is very interesting. If a spider and its prey was captured instead it would be a lot more effective.

Car scape

I saw this car in the weed on a hill and how it had became part of the landscape reminded me of new topography as the shot is a man altered landscape, as it was a side of a hill with this car in it on the farm. I felt it went well with the topic with the overgrown leaves. I feel the pink flower is more effective as I don't like the sunflower one.

Lilly

This photograph is quiet effective as I've chosen the most ineresting part of the flower to photograph, the stem was a bit dull. I really liked the texture of the pollen buds so tried to capture this with macro photography. Using the same oil puddle as I did with the pink flower. To make this shot more effective maybe i could get close ups on the droplets and have a really shallow depth of field. 

Leaf puddle

With the mixture of the mud and the tractor tyre marks it looks like a leaf which i capture here. I really like this and think it's effective in the topic of wild and fresh as it is imaginative. I also like how tyhe puddle isn't symetric making it look more interesting. however to make this more effective it may be better in black and white. I may convert it into black and white in photoshop and use it in my portfolio.

Summer Droplet

I really like the shot, and think it's very effective. I am happy with the very shallow depth of field as it puts more empathsis on the subject, and the air bubbles in the droplet captured really captures the texture of it all. The composition of this is nice as rule of thirds makes it easy on the eye. The one leaf coming towards you brings your attention to the droplet. I would possibly use this in a portfolio to demonstrate macro photography ability.

Sunflower Oil

I put the sunflower in the oily puddle again and the colours here are really nice. However the lack of detail makes this image less effective. I don't like this and feel a macro shot with the sunflower seeds inside would be much more effective.

I got my inspiration here from my photographer Baron Adolph de Meyer with his waterlillies piece.ts effective as the rein playing on the water is a very nice touch. However I dislike the shot as it's very boring.

Peeping Cow

This shot is effective as the cow is placed slightly off centre enableing you to see the ear. I really like the gate in the way as the cow is peering over it only just. I also put a macro mode on my camera to capture the cows furriness which I feel is a nice touch. The rule of thirds applied here also makes it easy on the eye. I would put this in my portfolio.

Curious Cows

This photograph is less effective. I was trying to get different angles on the cows and a different type of shot

However I think the way the cow is posing with a hoof held up is a moment captured well. However I don't like it.
